In my tour to give you news of theillay.
The works “rue de la gare” are almost finished, that's it we are going to have our car park Nether Stowey! New storekeeper in theillay our butcher: Frédéric Moreau opened his shop (it is easy to find, it is red as the phone box!!!
October ended for the association " Les gouets " by a feast for 30 years of the association.
All the members of yesterday and today met themselves, to blow 30 candles. A lot of emotion.
On November 11th the ancient and also the young people of schools met themselves to celebrate in the war memorial the armistice of November 11th, 1918.
The events committee organized an early evening dance which collected more than 120 persons.; the association of fishing, has quant it organized last week a bingo which made too room com
The next demonstration: a market of Christmas in the center of the village; a concert of the club singing of Gouets to start Christmas and quite its festivities.
All the office of the committee of twinning of Theillay joins me to wish you all Merry Christmas, spend good holidays of the end of year without excess (we say in France: to consume in moderation!)

A mon tour de vous donner des nouvelles de theillay.
Les travaux rue de la Gare sont presque finis , ça y est nous allons avoir notre parking Nether Stowey ! Nouveau commerçant à theillay notre boucher : Frédéric Moreau a ouvert sa boutique ( elle est facile à trouver , elle est rouge comme la cabine téléphonique !!!
Le mois d’octobre s’est terminé pour l’association « les gouets » par une fête pour les 30 ans de l’association, tous les membres d’hier et d’aujourd’hui se sont retrouvés, pour souffler les 30 bougies. Beaucoup d’émotion.
Le 11 Novembre les anciens et aussi les jeunes des écoles se sont retrouvés pour célébrer au monument aux morts l’armistice du 11 novembre 1918.
Le comité des fêtes a organisé un thé dansant qui a rassemblé plus de 120 personnes. ; l’association de pêche , a quant a elle organisée la semaine dernière un loto qui a fait lui aussi salle comble.
Prochaine manifestation : un marché de noël au centre du village ; un concert du club chant des Gouets pour démarrer Noël et toute ses festivités.
Tout le bureau du comité de jumelage de Theillay se joint à moi pour vous souhaiter à tous un Joyeux Noël , passez de bonnes fêtes de fin d ‘année sans excès ( Nous disons en France : à consommer avec modération !)
