8.Theillay Visit 1-4 May 2008- Report back from Theillay is positive.

8.1.Hosting 2008 – 19 households hosted the 22 incoming Theillay family/friend groupings. Overall a success but more attention should have been paid to ensuring that guests met other (non-hosting) Twinning members (particularly at Civic Event Church Centre).

8.2.Programme 1-4 May 2008: A very full programme – more so than usual under the circumstances of the 10th Anniversary village May Fair and leaving little time to relax with guests socially. Twinning Street Stall – very good publicity for Twinning but should have had a handout available for local information seekers.

8.3.Budget and Grant: Treasurer and Bank Signatories to discuss separately with organiser of Friday Evening Civic Event and Chairman.

9.Media/Publicity

9.1.Diary entries QM and QOL

9.2.Shop Window – in view of lack of resources, to be cleared completely. However it was agreed that other sources of public notice be researched by any committee member willing to do so – library or notice board on the Cross for example.

10.Treasurer’s Report – Receipts and payments at 13/5/08 showing funds Grand Total £3638. cf. item 8.3 above
