TWINNING BBQ

Despite the overall pretty grim weather conditions, the Twinning BBQ took place at a member’s home back in June. Around 50 members and guests attended and a good time would seem to have been enjoyed by all. The organiser of the event still holds in fond memory the unexpected - and “guardian angel” – appearance of a club member who very generously erected a marquee in the garden as a measure to forestall highly possible rain. In fact, the latter held off, but the marquee was still of tremendous use: and “kudos” I would add.

As you all know, “Les Boules arriveront” on 19th September, when I am sure another good time will be had by all.
